Through a feature called , students have the opportunity to virtually store materials from their high school experience that may be useful in their college application process. Only students have access to the Locker, but they are able to share any and all materials with counselors or advisors, as well as attach materials to college applications as needed. The Locker provides a space to keep track of their high school progress, and allows students to begin thinking about how their coursework, projects, and extracurricular involvement will matter when they begin applying to college. There's no limits to what can be stored in the Locker, but items students may want to consider adding include a class project, a favorite essay, artwork, a recording of a performance in a play or concert, or a graded senior capstone project.
No two applicants are the same, so we take great care to ensure we review your application within the context of your surroundings. The information you provide assists us in interpreting and evaluating your transcript, test scores, essays and letters of recommendation.
Please respond to one prompt of your choice. Through the personal essay, the committee hopes to learn more about who you are. While you are welcome to craft an original 650-word essay in response to the question, you may also elect to submit something you have previously written, performed, developed, or otherwise created that you feel addresses any of the prompts below. You may use anything you have created in the past four years; your Locker would be a great place to find examples! We will give equal consideration to all questions and methods of response.
Both paper and electronic resources are available to assist students in researching transfer colleges and universities, and their requirements. Several computer workstations are available for student research.
